Mareshah "Mi Mi" Yisrael
Intuitive Artist
Mareshah Yisrael, Intuitive Mixed Media Artist, is best known for her Papier Maché Wall Masks and her unique play on shapes, angles and color.
An exciting career in teaching children overseas gave Mareshah a chance to bring art and play together. As an intuitive individual, Mareshah likes to originate art from the heart, mind and spirit which enables her to use various materials when creating. These materials can be anything from found objects and old recycled bits, to the usage of collaging, printmaking, papier maché and repousse; and of course, anything in between or beyond.
Mareshah’s style encompasses inventiveness and imagination, allowing the mind to take a deep dive into the unknown and interact within the infinite possibilities of a universe made of authentic fantasy. Her works serenely depict and transmit positive thoughts and emotions that emphasize the immense beauty of a colorful world. A world which is made up of numerous elements and multiple nuances.
Yisrael’s works have been shown in galleries, museums and festivals in the United States and abroad. Most recently, she participated in the International Contemporary Art Exhibition “Pretty Perv” which was shown in both Italy and Spain.
