STOMPING GROUND CREATIVE RESIDENCY PROGRAM

Nothing is more human or natural than the act of making, creating, and expressing. At Stomping Ground, we offer an artist-in-residence program that provides the perfect balance of contemplative study and community engagement in the base of the Adirondack Mountains in just outside of Saratoga Springs, New York.

SELF-DIRECTION

We believe in artistic freedom and the authenticity of the artist. Make the work that brings you to life.

RADICAL EMPATHY

Empathy through fair trade. We offer time, space, and food in exchange for giving back to our community.

POSSIBILITY

Everything in our program is designed to inspire thinking and dreaming bigger than you can imagine. More is possible.

THE RESIDENCY

Every summer we try to bring in big thinkers, artists, musicians, writers, and creatives who are hoping to make the world a better place through their self expression. Hosting a creative resident at summer camp enables a distinct opportunity for exchange between the resident and campers where a myriad of partnerships and projects are possible.

Creative residents receive a FULLY-SUBSIDIZED stay including 3 meals a day in exchange for giving back to our unique community.  All residents commit to give back to the community, but exactly how that gift transpires is up to each creative resident and approved by Stomping Ground staff.

June 30 - July 12

July 14 - July 26

July 28 - August 9

August 11 - August 23
