Jasmin is an arranger, producer and songwriter who uses music as an outlet to not only express themselves but connect with others.

I think poetically, I feel rhythmically, and I speak melodically. Whether I'm producing beats, composing songs, or writing lyrics, this art form is one of the only ways I know how to express myself. My process is playful. It's experimental with feeling at its root. Music, although an incredibly technical and theoretical subject, is fundamentally and historically an emotive language. Music lovers don't turn their heads for the sheer complexity of an arrangement. Music lovers connect to music because of how the harmonies, instrumentation, and lyricism all come together to evoke a feeling. And that feeling can't be curated. It can only be felt. So, much of my practice is simply riding that journey. Leaning into those serendipitous moments when something exploratory becomes decisively magnetic. Pulling at words from thin air in an effort to alchemize years of lived experiences into a universally understood 3 minutes and 30 seconds of stereo imaging.
