Season 1: Trailer - Restorative Justice

Introducing the Inspiring Radical Empathy Podcast

Over the next 5 episodes we will be digging into restorative justice with your hosts, Allison Klee and Laura Kriegel. Join us as we discuss with experts and community leaders the impact restorative justice can have on summer camp, schools, and our society as a whole. We believe these practices can act as conversation tools to help address conflict, heal harm, and mitigate future harm. We hope you enjoy this first season as we continue to inspire the next generation of radically empathetic decision makers.

What is Restorative Justice?

Restorative Justice aims to heal harm, mitigate future harm, and build community. Suffering, heartache, and disconnection are universal, but are felt differently based on race, socioeconomic status and geographic location. Trust is the cornerstone of Restorative Justice. With trust and a system that empowers kids and staff to listen and share, conflict is transformed from something that creates harm to something that provides an opportunity for connection.
