Summer camp has historically been a white, affluent space, that has long been inaccessible to many. We're aiming to change that. Stomping Ground was created with the goal of breaking the siloed communities in which many of us live. 

You help make that possible.

Future Farms Initiative

Imagine a camp where the food we eat doesn’t just come from a grocery store but from our own soil—grown sustainably, regeneratively, and with care for the planet. Imagine kids learning how to plant trees that restore the land, grow food, and create habitats for wildlife. Imagine them tending a garden that thrives not in spite of nature but in harmony with it.

This isn’t just a dream about food. It’s a dream about learning—together. At Stomping Ground, we believe in the power of play and curiosity, not just for kids but for adults too. That’s why this journey into regenerative agriculture feels so perfectly us. We’re not experts. We don’t have all the answers. But we’re eager to roll up our sleeves, make mistakes, and figure it out alongside the kids.

Monthly Donors

Committing to monthly giving to Stomping Ground makes it possible for us to make commitments and be proactive in building relationships to bring more kids to camp that normally couldn’t afford it.

Embers Circle

This is the group for you if you want to inspire the next generation of radically empathetic decision makers, believe in the power of community, and have a huge heart. The Embers Circle meets quarterly, online, to provide insight and guidance to camp as well have a few laughs. If the Flying Squirrels are an Outrageous Activity the Embers Circle is the discussion around the campfire. You might call it the more mature group.

Flying Squirrels

You might be a Flying Squirrel if you are 21+ young or young at heart, care a lot about social justice, making the world a better place, impacting camp, but also want to be silly, maybe have a few drinks and make new friends along the way. Like camp, the Flying Squirrels make a difference through thoughtful conversation, shared experiences, and a lot of laughter.
