Stomping Ground exists because friendships and memories can change the world. Giving kids a chance to live for a few weeks each summer, in a small diverse community based on trust, empathy, and compassion, can inspire them and us to create a wide world based on trust, empathy, and compassion.

We think differently about conflict. Everything we do comes out of the core belief that active peacemaking requires direct, respectful, and creative communication. We don’t look for right and wrong, but instead use our Circle Process to help all parties feel understood and validated.
